Color New Employees Grow as We Grow
Austin Area Color New started serving car dealerships in Central Texas back in 2005, starting out as just a family run company with parents Scott and Christy Grimm, and daughters Paige and Shelby, as Color New employees.
Nearly two decades later, the family continues to be involved, now adding two sons-in-law in Ryan Clark, the General Manager, and David Gonos, Operations Analyst. But the company has grown to more than two dozen employees, and we’re not slowing down.
Ten of Color New’s employees have been with the company for over 5 years, with several having joined during the late 2000s.
Our management team prides itself in putting the right people in the right place, and promoting within. Our veteran technicians, who often work with helpers at car dealerships, were once helpers themselves. After years of training as helpers, they eventually grew into becoming lead technicians, running their own vans.
Once they graduate to being a technician, we ask them to train their helpers to prepare them to someday become lead technicians also.
This perpetual process of training, promoting and mentoring is what makes Austin Area Color New a great place to work. The foundation of our company is built on a team whose happy to train and promote within. One of our greatest commitments to our employees is that we try to prepare them for success in the workplace and in their lives.
